Esun 3D filament is popular in European & American Market

Nowadays, a great many industries carry on innovation and achieve breakthrough in the aspect of 3D Printing,which has caused the social extensive concern.

 
It is well known that the biggest bottleneck of 3D industry is 3D printing materials. But there’s an enterprise breaks the bottleneck and produces 3D printing material with biomaterials. At present, its market share ranks global top 3 in 3D printing material field and more than 90% products are exported to European and American market. 

This enterprise is Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co.,Ltd,whose manufacturing base is based in Xiaogan City, Hubei,China. Mr.Yang Yihu, Chairman of Esun, is a Hubei native and with many years studying and working experience in Wuhan. Philosophizing Break Bottleneck of Technology

Yang Yihu, 46-year-old, graduated from the Philosophy Department of Peking University. Owing to early working experience in Hubei petrochemical system, he realized it is an irresistible trend that growing depletion of oil resources is replaced by renewable and environment-friendly biological materials.

 
In 2002, Yang Yihu founded Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co.,Ltd and entered the field of biological materials.

 
At first, he input more than 30kg Lactic acid raw materials but it only produced a few grams of PLA raw materials,which is virtually worthless economically for scale production. Then non-professional Yang Yihu was personally involved in R&D and found the cause at last, that is, pressure is not up to settings. Philosophical thought helped him find the way to settle it: Temperature and pressure can be converted to one another. If the pressure cannot reach setting,it is available to adjust temperature to meet reaction condition. After repeated tests, the experiment achieved success finally- getting nearly 30kg PLA raw materials though 50kg lactic acid raw material. From then on, Esun embarked on the road of industrialization of biological materials.

 
Esun began to build manufacturing base in 2007 and formed three product line-Green solvent, Polyester polyols and Biopolymer materials. In 2003, its sales revenue is over one hundred million yuan.

 

Esun’s 90% products export to European & American Market

In 2007,one of European customers consulted us online whether you can provide 3mm welding rod. At first, we thought it is customer who want to produce welding rod. But then more and more customers required for this welding rod and they constantly offer their advices to us.Later,Mr. Yihu Yang, CEO of Esun came to Europe to specially visited this kind of customers. 

”Our company is in the intersection of two industrial revolution—Bioplastic and 3D Printing. It is bound to create new business opportunity”, Mr. Yang Yihu said. He keenly catches that using non-toxic and environment-friendly biomaterial to produce 3D printing filament will have a bright future because 3D printing is in the midst of being transformed from industrial use to home application. People surely cannot bear penetrating smell of original ABS filament at home.

 
There are dozens of materials can be used in 3D Printing, such as film, ABS, paraffin, plaster, nylon yarn,titanium alloy,ceramics,etc. Esun’s production base,specializing in   PLA biological materials ,has developed more than 100 varieties in different colors and specifications.

 
Currently, ten PLA 3D filament production lines of Xiaogan factory are all in a state of high load production,but still remain in short supply situation. Esun has become a famous brand and entered the global top three in 3D printing material market.

Attend global exhibition,Expand overseas market

 

Esun’s official website witnessed the track of expanding overseas market in 2014: Russia——U.S——Brazil——Germany. Yang Yihu, Chairman of Esun, is a frequent flyer.

 

He traveled to different countries to participate in 3D printing exhibitions and seminars,which is reflected in his Wechat. He laughed, saying that CEO is top sales of  the company. Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo,the leading B2B trade show, has 10 global tours in different countries this year and Esun all take part in. Furthermore, Esun is the only invited speaker of 3D printing material in almost every international 3D printing exhibition. 

Yang Yihu really cherish the opportunity to attend global exhibitions. He always attends personally whenever he can and make a speech in good English since the exhibition is the best platform to communicate with customers face to face and understand their needs.The inspiration of developing PVA filament and Conductive filament, Esun first launches in the world, is from communication with customers.

 
Once the exhibitions start, Yang Yihu will turn”Superman” mode on. Through participating in New York 3D Show, he stayed in U.S. for ten days and visited over 20 customers from Chicago to Denver, then Los Angeles,San Francisco, in his words,one day one city. After U.S. tour, he went to Mexico. He was to have attended Brazil 3D Show in person,but it’s too late to apply for Brazil Visa. He said, Esun will pay much attention to layout of the emerging markets on account of the importance of grabbing chances.
